Every year, the Nara Diocese Boys and Girls Association (led by Yoshifumi Nishio) holds a New Year’s Pilgrimage for Children. It is held during the Sechi Festival and aims to have children savor the joy of returning to Jiba.
This year, members and staff of the association totaling about 780 returned to Jiba on January 6. After going to the Sechi Festival, they moved to Tenri City Auditorium for entertainment. The program consisted of a Taiko performance by young men from Harumichi Grand Church, as well as songs and lucky draws.
