As the novel coronavirus has been spreading worldwide, a nationwide state of emergency has been declared in Japan, and other countries are making all-out efforts to prevent the further spread of the virus.
Around this time of year, we would ordinarily be inviting people to the Children’s Pilgrimage to Jiba and preparing their accommodations. However, we are not able to engage in such activities, given the circumstances where children cannot have a normal school life and where people are urged to refrain from going outside for non-essential reasons.
In light of the current situation, therefore, we have come to a decision to cancel the 2020 Children’s Pilgrimage to Jiba, which was scheduled to be held from July 26 to August 2.
We would like to ask for your kind understanding on this matter.
