The Preparation Committee for the 130th Anniversary of Oyasama recently announced that staff members of the Counseling Section of the Divine Gifts and Sanctions Bureau will administer the Sazuke in the West Worship Hall following the performance of the noon services, which, as reported before, will be performed in the Main Sanctuary at noon on Sundays, public holidays, and the 25th of each month (except on days of Church Headquarters’ events) between June 2013 and December 2015. The registration for this salvation work will be handled in the Attendants’ Room in the West Worship Hall. A request for an interpreter should be made at least three days in advance to the Translation Section (0743-63-2433). Wherever possible, every effort will be made to provide interpretation in English or one of 13 other languages.
The preparation committee also made two other announcements:
Information on hinokishin opportunities
On the days when the noon service takes place, the Hinokishin Information Desk will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the former Lost Children Center, just north of the Precincts Section’s South Office. This desk will provide information on hinokishin opportunities—and some equipment—for those who wish to sow seeds of sincerity at the Home of the Parent. (On days when the noon service is not performed, information on hinokishin opportunities in the Sanctuary precincts is available, as before, at the Main Office of the Precincts Section.)
Packed curry lunches
Also on the days when the noon service takes place, packed curry lunches—which are intended to offer convenience to those who attend the noon service or engage in hinokishin—will be available for those who purchase a ticket costing 250 yen. The lunch tickets, valid only on the day of purchase, can be bought between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. at the Hinokishin Information Desk (see above). The packed lunches themselves will be available for collection between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
