The Shinbashira, Zenji Nakayama, celebrated his 63rd birthday on January 16, when a celebratory event was held in the morning by resident officials of Church Headquarters at Oyasato Rugby Stadium.
During the event, Boys and Girls Association members belonging to Church Headquarters gave a fife and drum performance, and birthday cards and a bouquet of flowers were presented to the Shinbashira.
