Tenrikyo Language Institute (TLI) held its 27th graduation ceremony on March 8 in honor of 18 graduates (Japanese Language Department, 9; Oyasato Fusekomi Department, 9). They were from nine countries and regions: Nepal, Thailand, Myanmar, South Korea, the U.S. mainland, Hawaii, Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia.
At the ceremony, Rev. Zenkichi Tanaka, then head of the Overseas Department, said in his congratulatory speech, “I would like you to keep firmly in mind the teachings of Oyasama and play the role of a bridge that connects Jiba and your country or region.”
