Missionary Work Promotion Month for All Churches and Tenrikyo Nioigake Day Go Global

With about three months left in the “three years, one thousand days” season in the lead-up to the 140th Anniversary of Oyasama, followers are engaging in active efforts to spread the fragrance of the teachings all around the world.

Over the past two years, the Mission Department has designated September—widely recognized as a time for missionary outreach—as “Missionary Work Promotion Month for All Churches,” with the slogan: “Let Us Take Steps Forward to Universal Salvation in Unity of Mind.” During September, which included the final three days designated as “Tenrikyo Nioigake Day,” many church head ministers, Yoboku, and other followers actively engaged in conveying the teachings of Tenrikyo in unity of mind through heightened activities—such as spreading the name of God, giving roadside speeches, and administering the Sazuke to the ill—based at their churches, dioceses, and districts in their respective countries and regions.
