Church Headquarters Announces New Personnel Changes

Rev. Yoshikazu Terada

Honbu-in Yoshikazu Terada, 73, received sanction on April 26 as Bishop of the Mission Headquarters in South Korea. Honbu-in Terada was born on March 23, 1934, and received the truth of the Sazuke in 1952. He was appointed as Honbu-seinen in 1965, Honbu-jun’in in 1977, Besseki Lecturer in 1978, and Honbu-in in 1992. He became the head minister of Amijima Branch Church in 1980. He also served as chief of Translation Section of the Overseas Department, head of the Overseas Department, and president of Tenri Seminary.

Rev. Michihito Hamada

Bishop Michihito Hamada of the Mission Headquarters of Hawaii, 60, received sanction on April 18 as Honbu-in. Honbu-in Hamada received the truth of the Sazuke in 1966. He was appointed as Honbu-seinen in 1972, Honbu-jun’in in 1987, Besseki Lecturer in 1993, and Bishop of the Mission Headquarters of Hawaii in 2001. He also served as chief of Europe Section and General Affairs Section of the Overseas Department.
