Ikoi-no-Ie to Open Its Outpatient Center in January

Preparations are in progress to open Ikoi-no-Ie Outpatient Center on January 16, 2006. The construction of the building, which had been underway since November 2003, was completed in October this year. New medical equipment–such as examination tables, medical tables, and MRIs (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)–is presently being installed in the building. Ikoi-no-Ie Hospital will not provide outpatient services from January 8 to 15, when the equipment, furniture, and other things currently used will be moved to the new building. On January 10, an opening ceremony will be conducted with the presence of the Shinbashira and the former Shinbashira.
